摘要 ，语言是社会交际的工具，但人们使用语言进行交际总是在一定的场合， 就一定的话题，为一定的目的，向一定的对象进行的。人类社会生活和活 动的领域是多种多样的，人们之间的关系也是变化不一的。由于交际情景 不同，语言在实际使用过程中出现了许多变体，这些变体所形成的范畴便 被称为语域。语域这一范畴用来解释人们用语言做些什么。语域理论，是 韩礼德等语言学家在把语言同社会和人放在一起来加以考察和研究的过程 中发展起来的语言学理论，它揭示了不同情景下语言变体的总体原则。语 域理论将具体的语言变体放在具体的文化语境和情景语境中进行研究，将 语言的概念意义，人际意义及语篇意义有机地结合起来，进行理解和解释， 实际上就是同时兼顾了语言内部的纯语言意义与语言的社会意义与功能。 根据语域理论，韩礼德认为，翻译过程中译者应使译文再现原文的语域特 征，恰当表现原文赖以产生的语场、语式、语旨，使译文与原文的语域特 征达成一致。因此本文分别从语域的三个变项语场、语式、语旨分析 了如何再现原文的语域特征，从而达到语域对等0 如 本文共分为六个部分。引言部分从翻译过程中占有重要地位的意义问 题着手，对意义进行简要分类。语域的三个变项共同构成语域，具有反映 文化的功能和预测语篇意义和语言特征的功能。语域三个变项决定了语言 意义系统的三个组成部分。作者指出语域理论将语言的概念意义、人际意
