Unit 7 Its raining!一、 学习目标、重点、难点学习目标:1. 学会运用所学的单词和句型对天气情况进行询问和描述。2. 学会使用现在进行时的相关问句及答语。3.掌握描绘天气状态的形容词及现在分词,并学会其特殊疑问句、一般疑问句的用法及回答。学习重难点:1. 现在进行时的相关问句及答语。2 正确理解“Hows it going?”的含义及回答。3. 对天气提问的方式有两种: “ Hows the weather?” 和 “Whats the weather like?” 二、自主学习1. 认真阅读课本。(1) 想一想:谈论天气状况的句式是什么?如:武汉的天气怎么样? 晴朗 _(2) 写出下列单词。莫斯科_ 多伦多_ 波士顿_ 下雨 阴雨的 风 多风的 云 多云的_ _ _ 太阳 晴朗的 下雪 下雪的_ _你还知道其它天气相关的单词吗? 查一查吧.雾_ 有雾的_ 霜_ 有霜的_风暴_ 有暴风雨的_ 闪电的_ 打雷_找一找:形容词的构成有什么规律? _ (3) 彼此问候“最近怎么样?”可以用到句式:_ 回答:“不坏”。_三、复习教师拿出几幅图片,并问学生What is he/she doing in the picture?He/She is What are they doing in the picture?They are(reading a book/eating/washing the face/swimming/playing basketball/running etc.)四、教学过程Step 1 Presentation:Flash: T: Whats this, can you guess?S1: Is it a?S2: I think its a T: Look! Ss: Oh, its a snowman.T: Yes. So whats the weather like?Ss: Its snowy.T: Look! Whatre those?S3: Theyre clouds.T: So whats the weather like?Ss: Its cloudy.T: Listen! Whats this?S4: Its wind.T: Yes. So whats the weather like?Ss: Its windy.T: Look! Whats the weather like?Ss: Its sunny. T: Is it sunny, too?Ss: Yes. And its very hot.T: Youre right. Its hot and dry. Look! Is it hot?Ss: No, its very cold. T: Yes, its cold but quite sunny. Step 2 Practice:Show different pictures and get the students to ask and answer: Whats the weather like?/Hows the weather? ItsStep 3 Look and listen1. Now lets look at the city names in the box in 1b. Please read after me.2. Check the answers.Step 4 Pair work 1. Make a model with a student like this:T: Hi! Hows the weather in Beijing?S: Its sunny.Step 5 Listening1, Play the recording for the Ss to listen and number the pictures(1-4)2, Play the tape for Ss to check the answers.3, Let students match the names with the activities in 2b.Step 6 Pair work1. Look at the pictures and talk about the people in 2a with a partner.2. Ask a student the questions as a model;T: Whats Uncle Joe doing?S1: Hes work in pairs. Ask and answer about the pictures.3: Ss work in pairs. Step 9 Homework.五、语法技巧现在进行时的句式及时态标志1. 肯定句式的基本形式:主语+be+v.-ing.I am listening to the radio.我在听收音机。2. 否定句式的基本形式:主语+be+not+v.-ing.He isnt working on the farm.他没在农场工作。3. 一般疑问句的基本形式为:be+主语+ v.-ing,回答用Yes或No. Are you having English lessons?你在上英语课吗? Yes, we are./No, we arent .是的,我们在上。/不,我们没上。4. 特殊疑问句的基本形式:特殊疑问词(组)+be+主语+ v.-ing? What are they talking about?他们在讨论什么?5. 现在进行时常有now, these days, look, listen等时态提示词。Look! A monkey is climbing up the trees.看!一直猴子正在爬树。六、课堂检测.用所给词的适当形式填空1. You cant go out. Look, its (rain).2. Its a (wind) day today.3. What a nice day! Its (sun).4. She wants to be a (cook).5.
