It means we cant eat or drink here.(课前教师将准备好的标志图片贴到教室讲台上和门上比较显眼的地方。)Step2 Presentation1. 呈现课题 Unit 5 Signs ,并学习单词sign。T:Can I litter my rubbish in the classroom?(教师扔掉手中的垃圾) Ss: No, you cant.T:Im sorry. I cant litter my rubbish in the classroom. Look, there is a sign. It means we cant litter here. We can see some signs in different places. Today well learn more about public signs-Unit 5 Signs.(教师板书课题，学习单词sign，强调元音字母i的发音。)2. 初步感知课文(1) Watch and choose观看动画，。学习新单词shopping centre, restaurant.T: Today, Mike, Helen and Tim find some signs. Now lets watch cartoon and put the signs in the right place.(2) Ask and answer 在做练习时，运用句型What does it mean? It means学习No smoking, No eating or drinking, Wet floor, No littering。3. 深入学习对话并学习新词汇litter, smoke。(1) Watch and answer 再次观看课文动画，回答问题。见伴你学58页我交流第二题。Questions:1.What does the sign in the shopping centre mean?2.What does the sign in the juice shop mean? 3.Can we eat or drink in the bookshop? 4.Can we smoke in the restaurant?T:What do the signs mean?
