1、中央广播电视大学开放教育课程考核说明课程名称: 高级英语听说(1) 专业名称:英语(教育方向)(本)商务英语(国际商务方向)(本)启用时间: 2012年3月主持教师: 武艳 编写日期: 2011年10月 中央广播电视大学考试管理部门 一、有关说明1. 考核对象广播电视大学开放教育本科英语(教育方向)专业(本)及商务英语(国际商务方向)专业(本)学生。2. 启用时间从2012年春季开始使用。3. 考核目标本课程的考核目标分听力要求和口语要求两方面:听力要求:(1) 能基本听懂英语国家人士关于日常生活和社会、文化生活的谈话,理解中心大意,抓住主要观点或情节;能根据所听材料进行推理和分析,领会作者的

2、态度、感情和真实意图,并用英语作简要笔记。(2) 能基本听懂语速为120词左右的慢速英语新闻广播节目以及有关文化、教育等方面的非专题性讨论录音材料,理解大意,把握作者的意图、态度和感情。口语要求:(1) 能在一般社交场合与英语国家人士较流利地用英语进行交谈。在交谈时能够恰当地进行应答和导入话题,能主动展开话题并保持交流顺畅,语音、语调自然,无重大语法错误,言语基本得体。(2) 能用英语就所熟悉的话题进行口头交流,能比较流畅和准确地用英语介绍我国的文化与国情。在交流时能做到条理清晰地组织和表达思想,语言基本正确,言语基本得体。4. 考核方式及计分方法本课程的考核采取两种形式:形成性考核和课程终结

3、考试。课程总成绩为百分制,形成性考核占30%,课程终结考试占70%。形成性考核包括对“形成性考核及学习档案”(电子版)中作业的完成情况、平时学习表现以及参与教学活动的情况的考核。课程终结性考试分听力和口语两部分,听力和口语成绩各占终结性考试成绩的50%。 课程由中央电大统一命题,在同一时间全国统考。5. 考核依据本课程形成性考核的内容和课程终结考试的命题依据是中央广播电视大学“高级英语听说(1)教学大纲”和高级英语听说(1)教材中的内容。二、考核方式与要求(一)形成性考核 1. 考核目的本课程形成性考核的目的旨在加强对学生平时自主学习过程的指导和监督,重在对学生自主学习过程进行指导和检测,引导

4、学生按照教学要求和学习计划完成学习任务,达到掌握知识、提高能力的目标。 2. 考核手段形成性考核采用“形成性考核及学习档案”(电子版)的方式进行。3. 形成性考核各部分所占比重及计分方法形成性考核满分100分,占总成绩的30%。形成性考核包括三次形考任务,三次形考任务各占30分,平时学习表现及教学活动参与情况占10分。形成性考核任务通过网上()“高级英语听说(1)”课程端进行发布。4. 考核要求形成性考核任务与要求序次章节形式布置时间提交时间权重1Chapter 1-4形考任务1第2周第6周30%2Chapter 5-7形考任务2第5周第10周30%3Chapter 8-10形考任务3第8周第

5、14周30%4平时学习表现及教学活动的参与情况10%(说明:本课程为第一学期所开设课程,鉴于实际开课时间较晚,因此前两次作业可以晚些时间提交)(二)终结性考试1.考试目的终结性考试是在形成性考核的基础上,对学生学习情况和学习效果进行的一次全面检测。本课程的终结考试将重点测试学生对听说技能的掌握以及实际运用语言进行交际的能力。2.命题原则第一,本课程的考试命题应严格控制在教学大纲规定的教学内容和教学要求的范围之内。第二,考试命题应覆盖本课程教材的第一到十五单元,既全面,又重点突出。第三,每份试卷所考的内容,应覆盖本课程教材70% 以上的内容。第四,试题应难易适中,一般来讲,可分为:容易、适中、较

6、难三个程度,所占比例大致为:容易占20%,适中占60%,较难占20%。3. 考试方式终结性考试听力部分采用闭卷、笔试的方式进行考核。考生边听试题录音边答题。考生不得携带任何形式的参考资料和电子读物。口语考试采取口试方式进行。每场口试由两名教师主持、一名考生参加,考生进入备考室后抽取一套考卷,经过准备后进行口试。4. 考试时限听力考试时间长度为30分钟。口语考试考生抽得考卷后准备5分钟,正式口试为5分钟。5. 特殊说明听力考试需在有录音(光盘)播放设备的教室进行,考试前应检查录音播放功能是否正常。三、终结性考试试题类型及规范解答举例(一)“高级英语听说(1)”终结性考试听力部分1. 题型:部分题

16、econdhand smoke. That's smoke from someone else's cigarette. When you're sitting next to someone who is smoking, you are breathing in their smoke. Secondhand smoke has about 60 carcinogens in it. Carcinogens are chemicals that cause cancer. Some medical researchers estimate that as many

17、as 60,000 non-smokers die each year because of secondhand smoke.I think that you can understand why a lot of non-smokers are angry about this. They have pushed states and cities to ban smoking in all public places. Many places in the United States now have very strict anti-smoking laws for businesse

18、s, restaurants, hotels, and bars. All air flights in the United States must be non-smoking flights. Although there are strict non-smoking laws in many cities across the United States, some regions are clearly stricter than others. The anti-smoking movement tends to be strongest on the West Coast, fo

19、r example in California, and in the Northeast. Anti-smoking laws vary considerably. In some cities, you can smoke in bars, but not in restaurants. In other cities, you aren't allowed to smoke in any public place. For all of you as foreign university students, this information is extremely import

20、ant. Smoking is a very emotional topic for thousands and thousands of Americans. It may also be very emotional in other countries as well. If you smoke cigarettes, be very careful where you light up. Ask about the local laws and customs first. If you don't smoke, it's a little easier for you

21、, but be careful in conversations. You still could get into a big argument about smoking. 41)-50)Ming: Hey, listen to this. The average American watches four hours of TV a day.Jack: A day?
