Whilst individual products are quality

11、 assurance tested and, in some cases, inspected, it is important for us to check at the outset that each manufacturing facility has robust quality processes in place. Woolworths has prioritised certain categories of suppliers and products which may result in a greater level of inquiry to assure us o

13、 Certification Body. The audit program has been designed to demonstrate a suppliers compliance to the Ethical Sourcing Policy. These requirements represent minimum standards based on t

Working Conditions 工作环境A safe and hygienic work

32、ing environment shall be provided, bearing in mind the prevailing knowledge of the industry and of any specific hazards. Child Labour 童工Woolworths Limited supports ILO Convention 138 with regard to the appropriate age of

37、ng:o by depriving them of the opportunity to attend school;o by obliging them to leave school prematurely; oro by requiring them to attempt to combine school attendance with excessively long and heavy work.In short: child labour is work that deprives children of their childhood, their potential and

Living Wages最低生活工资Wages and benefits paid for a standard working week meet, at a minimum, national legal standard

In any event wages should always be enough to meet basic needs and to provide some discretionary income All workers shall be provided with written and understandable information about their employment conditions in respect to wages before they

40、enter employment and about the particulars of their wages for the pay period concerned each time that they are paid Deductions from wages as a disciplinary measure or any deductions from wages not provided for by Law shall not occur without the expressed permission of the worker concerned. All disci

42、dustry standards, whichever affords greater protectionIn any event, workers shall not on a regular basis be required to work in excess of 48 hours per week and shall be provided with at least one day off for every 7 day period on average. Overtime shall be voluntary, shall not be excessive, shall no

46、f labour-onlycontracting, sub-contracting, or home-working arrangements, or through apprenticeship schemes where there is no real intent to impart skills or provide regular employment, nor shall any such obligations be avoided through the excessive use of fixed-term contracts of employment对于每个工作的任用都
