But,whatiftherewasawaytocreateasuccessfulbusinesswithoutthewaste?Beingmindfulofyourwasteintheworkplaceisn’tsomethingthatisbeingbrushedofflikeitmighthavebeentenyearsago,withmoreandmoreemployeesandmanagersimplementinghugestrategiestoensuretheirbusinessesareoperatinginaneco-consciousmannerforthebettermentofourenvironment.

AccordingtotheZeroWasteAlliance,“ZeroWasteisagoalthatisethical,economical,efficientandvisionary,toguidepeopleinchangingtheirlifestylesandpracticestoemulatesustainablenaturalcycles,wherealldiscardedmaterialsaredesignedtobecomeresourcesforotherstouse.”

“ZeroWastemeansdesigningandmanagingproductsandprocessestosystematicallyavoidandeliminatethevolumeandtoxicityofwasteandmaterials,conserveandrecoverallresources,andnotburnorburythem.ImplementingZeroWastewilleliminatealldischargestoland,waterorairthatareathreattoplanetary,human,animalorplanthealth.”
