盖茨比和迪克病态自恋精神分析研究 ( 摘要) 了不起的盖茨比和夜色温柔是美国“迷惘一代”的代表作 家弗司科特菲茨杰拉德的两部佳作。两部小说尽管各具特色t 却不乏相似 之处。长期以来，评论界较多地关注它们在主题和感情描述方面的相似，却忽 略了同样明显的两位主人公杰伊盖茨比和迪克戴弗之间的相似。两位身无 分文的穷战士都爱上了美丽、迷人、富有的“仙女公主”，他浠j 竭尽全力赢得对 方的爱慕后又都遭无情抛弃，最终沦为牺牲品甚至替罪羊。本文作者试图通过 对他们所经历的骗局和失败的剖析，从心理分析角度出发，来揭示两人所共有 的自恋倾向，也即导致他们最终悲剧的根源之一。 尽管有关评价菲茨杰拉德其人其书的书籍和文章浩如烟海，然而从心理分 析角度着眼的却并不很多，论及其自恋倾向的材料更是匮乏。然而，本人却从 这些有限的信息得到宝贵的启发，以致最终决定将这一课题作为本人硕士论文 的主题。 在了不起的盖茨比和夜色温柔中，我们可以找到大量证据表明 盖茨比和遗克是病态的自恋者。他们的自恋倾向主要体现在以下三个方面：1 对本人过度理想化；2 对爱情及心中情人抱有太多幻想：3 对爱和赞美的强烈 渴求。盖茨比和迪克的上述自恋特征造成了灾难性后果：过度的自我理想化使 他们无法看到自己的不足；过多的关于爱情及心中情人的幻想使他们爱上了根
