摘要翻译作为一种跨文化实践活动十分复杂，如翻译者的主观因素及社会和文化等客观因素都使得翻译变得困难重重。文学作品的翻译涵盖诸多领域，因此如何跨越文化和语言的障碍做到传达中国文学的神韵一直是学术界关注焦点。诗歌是文学的最高表现形式，意象则被视为诗歌的灵魂。诗歌包括单个意象和整体意象，一首诗歌的美就是凭借着意象整型进行传达的，对诗歌意象翻译的研究就成为重中之重，因此对译者审美活动的探讨为研究译者在汉诗翻译过程中的主体性提供了一个新的视角。从译者的主体审美看，译者在诗歌翻译中通过其审美能力反映原作是要依托译者本身许多因素，如熟知诗歌所处的文化背景、主体文化意识和主体想象等，再现原作之意境。汉诗英译的过程是一个主体审美的过程，主体对诗歌意象的再创作时要借助三个介入模式：物本模式，我本模式及物我交融模式。在意象格式塔再造过程中，译者或多或少地会植入主体情感，最显著的就是主体文化情感。本文在汉诗英译的框架下，以汉诗中意象为研究对象；以“格式塔意象再造”理论和翻译美学的相关理论为理论基础；对中国古今现代大量诗词中意象翻译进行对比为分析方法，着重分析阐述了汉诗英译中意象主体审美的过程和要素，从而做到对意象的正确传达。关键词：汉诗英译；意象；审美主体；主体情感：介入模式i
