In fact, they are already working on plans to turn Mars into a new earth.Humans need three basic things to live: water to drink, and food to eat. Because there are not enough of them, it isnt possible to live on Mars right now. For one thing, there is not enough oxygen. There is also no running water just some ice. So how can we make Mars inhabitable? The answer is a process called terraforming.Terraforming means changing the environment of a planet so that it is similar to Earths. On Mars, the average temperature is about -60 degrees Celsius. So one of the main goals of terraforming Mars is to warm it up. One idea for warming Mars comes from a problem here on Earth. Most scientists agree that Earth is becoming warmer because of increased levels of carbon dioxide (二氧化碳). We might create similar conditions on Mars by building factories that send out carbon dioxide, which will change the environment there. Carbon dioxide will melt the ice in Mars polar areas. When the ice becomes water, the water will send out the carbon dioxide that is inside the ice. In addition, rain will fall, and it may be possible to grow plants for food. The plants will add more oxygen to the air. There will be many difficulties in terraforming Mars. The project could take many centuries, and the cost will be high. We have some of the technology, such as the ability to create carbon dioxide, but not the money. However, life on Mars is a real possibility in the future.11 . Any child can tell the difference between a tree and a dog. But those differences are far deeper then just what they look like. The cells (细胞) that plants are made up of are different. In other words, the cell wall of plants has something special.First of all, its important to find that not all plant cells have a cell wall. Besides, there are many differences of a cell wall based on the kinds of plant. The following is meant to be what a plant cell wall is like. The cell wall of a plant is on the our side of the cell membrane (膜). It is usually hard and cannot bebenteasily, but the degree of flexibility (韧性) of the cell wall is different. It is based on the special use that the cell has in keeping the plant alive. Cells that make up the trunk of a tree are clearly less flexible than cells on a leaf.Cell walls act in many ways. They serve to protect the plant. They provide support, as well as help in the movement of chemicals and wastes into and out of the cell. More importantly, they control the water that goes in and our. Plants must have good water controlling systems (系统), allowing them to keep water during dry seasons, and get rid of unnecessary water. Plants cant walk around to find water, so being able to control water is very important. So there you have it what a plant cell wall is. Of course, there are many other things that are not talked about here. Knowing more about plant cell walls requires further study and research.15 .
