5、ec(波莱尔家族基 金会共同提供资金支持。洛桑联邦理工学院的新“心脏”将焕然一新。机 械馆和老中央图书馆位于劳力士研修中心的正上 方,在此次项目中将经历彻底的改扩建。该项目向多家建筑公司和多名知名建筑师发出邀 请,最终,得益于多米尼克 佩罗签署的一个项目,瑞士卡尔施泰纳集团得以入选。目前,多米尼 克佩罗完成了瑞士洛迦诺新车站区 FFS 的城市 规划项目。图书馆项目施工开始于 2011年夏天, 由联邦议会于 2009年底批准 6000万瑞士法郎 的预算支持。项目从某种程度上来说,遵循了劳 力士研修中心的构造,因为中央图书馆内重要的 物品被转移到这一新的学校旗舰式建筑中,释放重要的建筑体量。这将重

8、ry. The buildings will house the Neuroprothetic Ce n t re, a s we l l a s a d m i n i s t r a t i ve o f f i ce s. The Neuroprothetic Centre was launched end 2008 and is cofinanced by the foundations Bertarelli and Defi tec(Borel family. The new " heart " of the Ecole polytechnique federal

9、e de Lausanne will show new adornments. Located just above the Rolex Learning Center, the mechanics hall and the old central library will be completely transformed and extended.Following an invitation launched to several generalconstruction companies, which called on famous PEOPLE 人物多米尼克佩罗 DOMINIQUE

10、 PERRAULT architectes, the Swiss group Karl Steiner was selec ted thanks to a projec t signed by the French Dominique Perrault. Among Perraults works are the French National Library François Mitterand in 1995, the European Court of Justice in Luxembourg, EWHA University in Seoul, the Olympic te

11、nnis centre in Madrid, as well as the Fukoku Tower in Osaka. In Switzerland Dominique Perrault currently realizes the urban planning o f t h e n e w s t a t i o n d i s t r i c t F F S i n Lo c a r n o. Construction started in summer 2011, and is financed by a budget of 60 M CHF, granted by the fede

12、ral parliament end 2009. The project follows to a certain extent the construction of the Rolex Learning Center, since the contents of the central library was transferred to this new flagship building of the school, thus liberating important volumes. This will allow to regroup a part of the schools c

13、entral services and create several new laboratories for students of the Engineering and Science Faculties. The Neuroprothetic Centre will thus have dedicated space and be per fectly equipped. “ The selected project seduced us because it establishes a strong link between the old buildings of the camp

14、us and the new constructions in the South”, explains FrancisLuc Perret, EPFL vice-president, in charge of real estate and president of the jury. “ The architect created a new lively space, located between the Rolex Learning Center and the congress centre, currently under construction in the North. ”

15、In a second phase, an ambitious construction, the highest of the campus, could be built above Avenue Picard, which is crossing the site from south to north. Called Teaching Bridge by the architect, the structure will show several levels dedicated to teaching purposes.
