Background Information 1) Business Ethics a system of accepted beliefs in business controls behaviours esp, a system based on morals in business. examines morality, honesty, and virtues, etc in business. On the other hand, the traditional focus of business et
6、hics is on the morality of action. This results in conclusions about which business practices are acceptable and which are not. For example, employees have ethical rights. When a business practice violates these rights, this practice is unethical.2) Heel of AchillesAchilles heel The story is that Ac
7、hilles, one of the Greek heroes in the “Iliad” 伊利亚特, another epic attributed to Homer, was taken by his mother Thetis. when he was a child and dipped in the rive Styx(冥河) to make him invulnerable. The water washed every part of his body except the heel in his mothers hand. It was precisely at his vu
8、lnerable point that Achilles was later killed in battle.An Achilles heel (1) meaning An Achilles heel is a fatal weakness in spite of overall strength, that can actually or potentially lead to downfall. It derived from the Greek Achilleios pterna , “literally meaning Achillesheel. An Achilles heel i
