Purpose: Research papers are written mainly for publica

2、tion in journals or conference proceedings(会议论文集). Acceptability: Strict Requirements set by famous professional journals and conference proceedings: SCI(Science Index),EI (Engineering Index),ISTP(International Science and Technology Proceedings).,Classification of Papers,Research Paper: It is only

3、one kind of professional papers which include report paper,course paper(term paper),thesis paper(dissertation). Report paper: It summarizes and reports the findings of the author on a particular subject.It refers to the an account of some particular subject or issue which is published in a newspaper

4、 or a magazine or broadcast over the radio or on TV.,Classification of Papers,Course paper:It is always written and handed in at the end of the term (also called term paper).Its contents should usually be in line with the course requirements and under the instruction of the course instructor. Thesis
