Show me, I will remember. Involve me, and I will understand. Therefore, in this lesson, Ill mainly adopt 3 teaching method, they are task-based teaching method, situational teaching method and communicative teaching method, which will be more effective to strengthen the key points and break the difficult points.2. Learning method The Ss are centered as the principal part in the English lesson under the guide of teacher. Therefore, in this lesson, much importance will be attached in improving students ability of using teaching method. I will encourage them to participate, compete, communicate, experience and cooperate in each activity. Moreover, I will praise them sincerely for every effect and try to motivate their self-confidence and interests in learning English. 【Teaching aids】Multimedia devices, PPT documents, some word-cards, and papers.【Teaching procedures and design aims】Step 1 Warm-up and revision (3 min)1. Play the fashion show and enjoy a song before the class. T: Do you like the fashion show? Do you like the coat? Yes, it looks cool.2. Greeting.T:I am your new English teacher. My name is Chen Linghong. So you can call me “ Miss Chen”. Whats your name? Nice to meet you. 3.Sing a song and then talk about the topic clothes and communicate with students.T: Today we are going to talk about the clothes. Look, I am wearing a yellow coat. Is it beautiful? Im wearing a sweater. Its black. What are you wearing today? Step 2 Presentation and practice (26 min)1. Introduce a friend Sam and create a real situation : They are going to move into a new house.T: Look, today we have a friend here. Who is he ? He is Sam. He is Sarahs brother. What is he wearing today? He is happy, too. Why? Because they are going to move into a new house. Look,here comes the truck. Mother says: Can you help me, please? 2. Lets help mum pack the clothes. (1) Activity 1: Read aloud the words.T: Look, whats this? If you know the word, you can read aloud. OK?(2) Activity 2: Lets say. T: Look, there are many clothes. This is a T-shirt, its cool. These are shoes. They are pink. Can you say something about the clothes? S1: This is a shirt. Its cool. S2:These are pants. They are blue. S3:.3. Learn the target language “ Whose .is this?” “Its mine.” Then stick them on the blackboard. Break out the difficult words “mine”.(1) .
